Commercial Metalwork

Below are just some of the high quality types of commercial work we have completed in London and various parts of the country.

Charing Cross Station, Forecourt Railings & Lamps, London

A project we completed in 1989 working with British Rail.

New York University, Bedford Square, London.

We were asked to tighten up all handrails which had become loose over many years of use and make safe again.

St Mary-le-Bow Church, Cheapside, London.

We made brand new curved brass handrails with curtail terminations to the entrance of the church.

St Luke's Church, Oseney Crescent, Kentish Town, London.

We replicated gates from existing to create another set that were made for a second new entrance to the church.

Bomber Command Memorial: Green Park, London.

We were tasked with manufacturing, supplying and installing, the highest quality bespoke handrails and balustrades to steps and perimeter of the site. The pictures below show the level of detail required to each support post (cast iron fluted bollard) plus the interface cover at ground level.

Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London.

Our brief was to manufacture, supply and install replica gates and railings to the main entrance of Canada House facing onto Trafalqar Square. The new swept bronze handrails are of traditional design and the railings and gates replicated exactly to suit the original features.

Royal College of Surgeons, London.

This renowned medical headquarters required the addition of sympathetic railings and gates to the front elevation. The final installation reflects both traditional details, plus all other heritage aspects.

Chantry House, London.

Belgravia is one of London's most prestigious locations. The work required to this original Pimlico property included replica Adams Heart style front elevation first floor balconies.

Cambridge Gate London.

This complex Shield structure located on the roof of buildings in Regents Park, London, required dynamic engineering and structural details to be incorporated within the manufacture process. This was to ensure not only true copy detailing, but to provide longevity plus structural integrity for the future.

Royal Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire.

The Royal Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire is one of the leading racecourses in the United Kingdom. We were tasked with designing, manufacturing and installing various balconies, support pillars, balustrades, staircases (internal no image) and the main entrance gate all to a replica and approved concept.
